Kirsten Elizabeth Rutnik Gillibrand (born December 9, 1966) is an attorney and the junior United States Senator from the state of New York and a member of the Democratic Party.
She was a co-sponsor of the Protect IP Act, but withdrew her support because of the Interent blackout protests.
